Inclement Weather & Lightning Policy We’ll hold practice when possible, as most storms pass quickly. If under a severe weather warning, we may cancel in advance. In the event this happens current monthly members will receive an email and optional text alerts; all others, please check the Swim Calendar. If a swim practice is on the calendar it has NOT been canceled.

If lightning is spotted or severe weather strikes, we’ll clear the pool immediately in accordance with the City of Melbourne’s policy—waiting at least 30 minutes after the last lightning flash. Safety first, always.
